Steam Combination Oven
January 25, 2021
There’s a new appliance in the kitchen market these days! The steam combination oven will cook anything you would do in a conventional oven but with the added benefit of steam!
Most of us have standard microwaves in our kitchens that we use for reheating food, but we all know that the reheated food often comes out dry and overcooked, or foods like cheese come out in a solid chunk.
Hello steam!
Using steam in the heating process versus microwaves has many benefits; the most important is that steam rehydrates food after refrigeration has removed much of the original moisture. Reheating lasagna or roast beef means enjoying your meal with all the texture and taste it had when it was first served.
Benefits Of Steam Combination Oven
- Healthy – steam cooking doesn’t boil the water-soluble vitamins and minerals out of your food which typically happens using other methods of heating
- Tasty – meat is so tender it falls off the bone
- Vegetables retain their naturally vibrant colours
- Steam regenerates leftovers in about ten minutes (won’t over/under cook them like a microwave)
- Steam can be turned off to cook like a conventional oven – OR use steam and conventional oven at the same time
If you’re looking for a new way to cook and re-heat your food, consider the steam combination oven – your next go-to appliance at home!
